Whats the big secret then?

Father’s Big SecretFather’s Big SecretFather’s Big Secret is a unusual crime thriller for kids aged 9-14. The story evolves around a bizarre family somewhere in suburbia. At the centre is the father, Robert Bodvar, alias Bobo, who is unemployed and a cannibal. His wife is a overworked phone saleswoman who works from home. They have two children, Sidda and Hakon - who tells the story. The kid’s do their best to keep their fathers big secret unknown to the rest of the world and Police detective Vincent Nicole who is getting dangerously close to solving the case.

Text, layout and illustrations by Thorarinn Leifsson. The book was first published in Iceland in 2007, the rights were sold to German publisher Leipziger Kinderbuchverlag in the spring of 2008 and to Danish Forlaget Torgard in the autumn.

If you are interested in the rights to publish Father's Big Secret in your country you may contact Forlagid publishers in Reykjavik, send an email to ua@forlagid.is. You can download short PDF reading samples below in Spanish, Catalan, Danish, German, English and Icelandic. The whole manuscript is available in English up on request.

What ever you do, do not approach Robert Bodvar on your own. That's just now very wise.
